We had a great turnout last night at the Hopyard, and I had the pleasure of meeting many people for the first time! The message is clear - this Mayor is doing a great job! I hope to represent you for the coming two years. I LOVE serving the people of Pleasanton!

Regarding the regional response to the Oakland murder verdict. . .
Pleasanton firefighters and law enforcement will be on the streets of Oakland again tonight to allow people the opportunity to exercise their free speech rights, while protecting people and property in any situation which may become dangerous. Of course, mutual aid is being provided by many neighboring agencies. Please keep all in your thoughts and prayers as we know they will do their job well, (as they did last night) and return home, safe and sound.
Great meeting with fellow Mayors re Innovation Valley with SyBase leading the charge - jobs for our communities - Yes!!!
The Mayors of the Tri Valley had a great meeting this morning, hosted by SyBase in Dublin, to talk about entrepeneurship and innovation, and competing with Silicon Valley. For the first time, after 6 years of trying to get traction, I beieve we have it - with SyBase (business in general) leading the fore, which makes sense. I think we are on the cusp of making innovation in our valley with major startups which give back to our community in the most meaningful of ways, a reality.&nbs...
