MacArthur Park Restaurant, named after a Jimmy Webb song, has been a neighborhood favorite in Palo Alto since it first opened in 1981. Today's MacArthur Park has been reclaimed by its original owner and its original chef with a revitalized menu and a recent renovation of this historical landmark Julia Morgan building.
Home is a place you love, and MacArthur Park is pleased to welcome the community back home with new dishes, old favorites and the warmest of hospitality.

2 ½ oz. Light Rum 1 tbsp. Simple Syrup - or use 2 Sugar Cubes and a 1 tbsp. Soda Water 8 Mint Sprigs Juice of 1 Lime Ice Place mint sprigs in tall cocktail glass. Add simple syrup, or 2 sugar cubes and soda water, and smash or muddle the mint leaves. Add ice, 2 ½ oz of Light Rum, and juice of 1 lime. Stir ingredients to thoroughly incorporate and to distribute the mint leaves. Add a lime wedge garnish and ENJOY!

I just wanted to say that our server was very attentive, she was warm and friendly, but not overly pandering. Perfect, IMO. Timing of bringing out the food was perfectly paced. If you have a quick business lunch, I think this is a great place to go. I highly recommend it. I never realized there was a really nice restaurant here. Funny thing is it's right next to the Caltrain station but I didn't hear the train sounds when I was indoors. I have to say the restaurant looks solid, ap...

My girlfriend and I enjoyed Happy Hour for the first time at MacArthur Park last week and had a great time. It was Wednesday Night which is Ladies Night and we sat at the bar and enjoyed fancy $11 drinks for $5.50. Complimentary homemade potato chips, salsa, veggies and dip were served buffet style in the bar. So I came here for the Yelp Event and oddly since I live fairly close by, I never realized there was a really nice restaurant here. Funny thing is it's right next to the Caltrain station but I didn't hear the train sounds when I was indoors.
